Sagarin and Pomeroy don't "study the teams carefully." That's too much for any one person. They're systems are based on statistical modeling of the data from each team.

They have staffers. They're not just lone wolves.

The point is that there isn't any subjective "studying" of the teams. It's all based on statistical modeling. Numbers go in, rankings come out. The rankings would be the same whether Pomeroy (and his staff if he really has one) watched basketball 24/7 or didn't watch a single game this season. The lack of "studying" and subjectivity of the eye test is the entire point. They have staffers. They're not just lone wolves.

Love the BU pressers.......................Common sense info and given to us in every day guys jargon........................He also is not shy about owning up to him making mistakes and having to do a better job of coaching....found it interesting that he said he was more upset with iur defense in that 10 minute stretch when Kofi was on the bench than the offense.....That tells me a lot about his philosophy of what we need to do to be highly successful for the rest of this season and every season , for that matter.....
dub , i love ya bro....good sense of humor on that issue..............You can always join my new Loyalty Math Club and help me break down a full 30 minute half. Judgement free zone.
Exactly as Phil Rogers voted for Harold Baines for the HOF. I called for his voting rights to be taken away. Sportswriters are not very bright when it comes to sports. If we can convince the media to rely on computer logarithms (rather than polls) for deciding which teams to report on, we'll all be happy.

They do at North Carolina.Classes, hah! Those papers don't write themselves, ya know!

Classic post-concussion stuff. Got some activity going, got his heart rate up, and symptoms crept back in.Illini PG Andre Curbelo has 'minor setback' as he works towards return from injury

Was at UA for almost a decade before I learned what that meant

One aspect of that 247 article that cheered me was how engaged he appears to be with the team during games. Sounds from that article like Belo's got some solid coaching chops.Classic post-concussion stuff. Got some activity going, got his heart rate up, and symptoms crept back in.
It will get better in time, but it's frustrating to not know how much while feeling physically fine.
I beg your pardon. Where did you go to school?
I was unaware that Steve Martin (c. 1978) ever coached at Carolina.

I would think that they have to be getting close or at least having discussions regarding shutting him down and redshirting him? With the entire preconference season and first quarter of the conference season gone(after tomorrow).....the clock is running on how much of a factor on the season he could even be. The offense is running under a completely different philosophy than what they were running in the beginning of November. It's going to take time for BU to figure out his role, much less AC getting up to game speed.Classic post-concussion stuff. Got some activity going, got his heart rate up, and symptoms crept back in.
