Pink eye is not kind to one's eyesight with blurry symptoms lasting sometimes a few days even with being treated. It's surprising many more of the team members did not come down with it since it's very contagious. There are several drugs available along with various prescription eyedrops for treatment, but of course, each person has their own timetable in getting over it. Check out Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins, or other reputable medical websites for further info. Here's hoping TF is good to go and the team will fare well today with many more victories yet this year - go Illini!
I have noticed there are more bracket busters on Thursday than Friday.
My wife is a medical provider. She said she thinks he has periorbital cellulitis which is an additional 5-7 days recovery. Hope he's ready to go.
Trent doesn't make good eye contact during pressers...usually seems like a reluctant guest. But yes his eye does look traumatized.

I watched a lot of games yesterday. Referees are calling fouls so much tighter than BIG conference play. Hope our players are ready for the adjustment and this actually should help Kofi down low. Also benefits guards driving to the hoop, since many were uncontested in games I watched.
Man I hope you’re right. Kofi is so strong through contact, it makes it difficult for the refs to accurately call them. The flip side is Kofi will need to hit his FTs.

This. There's almost no way this was bacterial conjunctivitis, likely viral. There's no treatment other than time and lubricating eye drops if that's the case. And it takes 1-2 weeks to clear up fully.

Well, the other potential outcome is we play like its just another conference game and pick up 20 fouls in the first half, and most of our starters are sent to the bench. It is definitely being called a lot differently on yesterday's games, so adjustments badly needed.

I DO think we will win tonight. Idk if it’ll be by 1 or 10 but I believe the boys come ready to play. Every game could be their last, they seem focused and ready, healthy and loose. These are great things to be before tournament time.

Watching the Chattanooga v Furman game highlights from their conference championship. Big thing that stands out defensively is that Furman repeatedly got the ball in to the short corner and sent a cutter from opposite elbow. Chattanooga gave up at least four baskets in the first five minutes off of this situation. Getting Kofi the ball in that position should open the lane for attacking slashers. Also, Furman had to double SD in the post, leaving Chattanooga guards open, which we will not.
As always, spacing will be important. Chattanooga will change coverage on side ball screen defense and occasionally trap and deny immediately after the screen (see around the 13:00 min mark).
