You have a lot more faith in the refs than I do.Don't think there is another player in NCAA that can back Kofi down on every play without getting called for offensive fouls. He would have to make a running leap to move Kofi.
Did you see the chairman say they put MSU and UCLA in the play in because they thought it would be an exciting way to start the tournament? Then he caught himself and tried to walk it back.NCAA selection committee: we don’t do storylines, silly.
*Puts Loyola and OK State in our region*
It's a joke they even act like they don't, literally everyone knows that they do. In a vacuum it's not that bad because it makes interesting narratives but we shouldn't be getting Loyola and OSUDid you see the chairman say they put MSU and UCLA in the play in because they thought it would be an exciting way to start the tournament? Then he caught himself and tried to walk it back.
I'm not sure I can survive the last four or your projected matchups. If you want the all Illinois storyline bracket:
Illinois vs. Loyola R32 (David vs. Goliath state school)
Illinois vs. OK State S16 (Ayo vs. Cade, Underwood spurning)
Illinois vs. WVU E8 (Underwood coached with Huggins at K-State)
Illinois vs. Baylor F4 (Regular Season Rematch, Illinois has won their last 10(ish?) second match ups dating back to Northwestern last season.)
Illinois vs. Michigan Championship (Do I need to explain?)
Hey! Thanks for posting that video. I think my favorite part is his sisters bringing him back down to earth and you can see how much he appreciates it. What a wonderful glimpse into what makes Ayo Ayo. Thanks again. If you haven't seen it, you need to watch it. If you've seen it already, you should watch it again. As we enter the final chapter of Ayo Dosunmu's time in orange and blue, it's a perfect time to remember how his journey began:

Thanks for replying. And yes, those are the two places. But, I can see game 1 & game 2 at both locations. Any chance we can get to know which stadium and game we would have if we make it there.
Sorry for the annoying questions. I am not sure how these things work. Do people just buy tickets in advance and hope to get the right one?
I am retired and have same issue lol. I lose track of the date, but my wife says if I don't know the day of the week I have to go back to work so I keep on top of that.Same here, recently retired and I do not have to worry about using vacation time anymore. I sometimes forget what day it is since every day is like every other day.
Since all the locations are a fairly short drive from each other, they are intentionally having potential 2nd round matchup teams not play in the same gym in the first round, and then to prevent any familiarity advantage, having those teams play in a 3rd different gym for the second round game. What's the deal with locations? Why are Illinois and Loyola playing at different locations? And then a 3rd location for the 2nd round?
Looking at Drexel’s roster, Wynter looks to make them go offensively, leading scorer and over 5 APG. He’s only listed at 6’2 so presumably Trent should match up okay with him. They have some shooters. They have nice length on the wings but aren’t particularly big down low and aren’t particularly deep.
If Trent can contain Wynter and we keep up our trend of limiting their 3 point attempts, I think we will be fine. Debating whether to take Friday off or not. So good to be back in the tourney!
This is more thought and effort than I would have expected from the NCAA. Still, it is sad for our fans that the NCAA put our game 1 in the Fairgrounds Coliseum - by far the smallest seating venue in the tourney (6800 max in normal times). There are literally a dozen larger high school gyms in Indiana.Since all the locations are a fairly short drive from each other, they are intentionally having potential 2nd round matchup teams not play in the same gym in the first round, and then to prevent any familiarity advantage, having those teams play in a 3rd different gym for the second round game.
