6 PM start is also a pain point for those of us in and around Chicago.

I do think that if we’d beaten Purdue and Maryland this would be a sellout.
I'm out west and all start times are a pain point, but hallowed be the DVR. Forgot about commuting woes entirely from Chicagoland for early games. Damned Boilerturtles
Student here. It probably has to do with the fact today is the coldest day of winter so far (today and tomorrow seem to be the absolute peaks of this winter) and the fact that there's a high chance we'll lose due to our injuries and past games vs MSU. Another reason could be the fact that it's on a weekday and is a bit earlier than most games (6pm vs usually around 8pm). I'm going though
That's the spirit! I don't miss those winters one bit - I'm wearing long johns and it's a balmy 43 degrees here. Enjoy the game

I'm assuming Underwood won't tell anyone what he learns at 2:30. He has consistently kept injury-related news like this close to the vest to maintain a competitive advantage.

Also, why do we call Illini personnel by their last name but refer to Coleman Hawkins by his first name? Because his first name sounds like a last name?

It depends which team shows up tonight. Should be able to tell in the first 5 mins. Either Jekyll or Hyde???

Need this game badly to stay in the hunt for the B1G title. Still good odds to be out on top if Kofi and everyone else is healthy which hasnt been a given at all this year. I like us to win this one not sure why the veags odds are so high on us even with a health kofi this MSU team has been playing really well (Northwestern game doesnt count).

Odds with Kofi:

#15 ILL 73 73%
#MSU 17 69

Schedule Projections:

B1G Projections:

Seed projection: 4

It’s coaches vs cancer game and before Covid coaches all wore dress shoes and nice clothes. Last two years seen more of a casual look. Are coaches going to go back to suits or is casual the new norm

I think this has been discussed that the new norm is athletic wear moving forward.
