Didn’t Brad say 1) Kofi took a bad shot to the head the day before the Purdue game; and 2) Trent took a “horrific fall” that same practice?

We’re all aware of Edey’s antics and how Curbelo got hurt, but the pressers have given me the impression practice has been a culprit at times. See also, Hutcherson tailbone injuries.
Kofi got hit during the Purdue game. Trent's been banged up all year, re-aggravated it before Purdue, got it banged up against Purdue.

Looking for a bounce back game against MSU, there is still plenty of fight left in this team. Sure hope Kofi is back and that his concussion was mild without lingering symtoms. By the way, you may be an Illini fanatic if:
1. The hood of your car is sporting a huge Chief logo.
2. Your 2 dogs are named Butkus and Grabowski
3. Your house is painted dark blue, with orange doors and windows
4. You refer to your back yard as The Quad
5. Your wedding song was the Three in One
6. Your dingy basement man cave bar is called Kam's
7. Your new triplet boys are named Kofi, Trent, and Damonte
8. When you accidentally hit your thumb with a hammer, you scream "OSKEE WOW WOW that Hurts!"
9. The only soda you will drink is orange krush
10. Your daughter's first sentence was "I hate the Squawks!"
My truck and personnel bathroom. Do I win anything?

Did you hit your head or something? /s :ROFLMAO:

More research on CTE, concussion syndrome, and concussions in general has been done in the last 10-20 years than in the previous 100. It is meticulously monitored in all sports now. It's the primary reason NFL QB's can't be breathed on heavy anymore.

I think It's now primarily in the hands of doctors and tests.
I fell backwards on my head reaching back for a ball in the outfield. The ball carried farther than I thought a being a klutz, I still made the catch but hrut myself in the process LOL

Coleman needs to play way more... preferably most of the game! Him and Omar need to be on the floor most of the game! And play the freshman more! They are more than capable. This team is too deep to run us so thin with the small core underwood has been using! These guys need experience for next year!
I do not understand the hesitancy of playing Hawk more. He is vital to the teams success.

Why are we worried about next year right now? We are in the middle of the season in which we're poised to win the conference and go to the tournament.

We are recruiting, getting the freshman some tick, and trying to survive a tough B10 schedule. Let's put our focus where it's most needed, please.

Hoping Vegas knows something everyone else doesn’t… maybe they heard BU say we won’t come out lifeless again “over his dead body”, and that was enough for the bookies

I agree 100%. This is the year to go all in. Let’s see where this group of veterans can take us.

My only gripe with BU over the past few years is his lack of creativity on defense. Not sure if there is a stat out there to back it up, but we must have played the least amount of zone the past couple years. Our defense has been good, don't get me wrong...but sometimes teams get in a rhythm and figure it out. Or sometimes we just aren't guarding the same way we usually do. The Maryland game was a perfect example. There are so many ways to try to get a team out of rhythm. Full court man, 1-2-2, 1-3-1, 2-3 zone. Even staying in man but going smaller for a few possessions and switching everything.

This is an issue in the Big 10 mostly. How many teams in the conference play a zone? Only one I can think of is Iowa and that's usually in a full court press variety.
