I freaking HATE miznoz with every fiber of my being. That garbage pathetic excuse for a team/program don’t even belong on the same floor as the Beloved. I hope they never win a game ever again. I hope they never lead in a game again. If the earth swallowed up that campus tomorrow, never to be seen again, I’d be furious that it didn’t happen sooner.

That's actually not that uncommon nowadays. It's cheaper for some TV networks to not have announcers on site. Heck, the Blues TV guys were still calling some road games remotely from a studio at the St. Louis PBS station last season.

Damn, I remember that one well, my freshman year at Lewis University. I commuted from my grandmother's house in Lockport to campus in Romeoville. The following spring, I enlisted in the army to continue my pursuit of a carrier in aerospace with an initial duty assignment in Hawaii. Became my home for 4 years launched an honored military career and turned a bright-eyed kid into the grizzled aeronautical engineer and diehard illini fan he is today
