It's a shortened week, so even less time to make changes to the playbook or implement a new scheme. And there's also less time for Crisler and Gesky to heal after getting dinged up, and Luke wasn't moving around all too great either.
Nebraska's defense has looked solid this year and very active and when you combine that with our massive o-line issues, we'll likely be struggling on offense and I'd expect a few turnovers. Their offense hasn't been good, but since moving on from Sims, it has looked better and our D struggles against short to mid passes and the run. Special Teams should be a major advantage for us, so gotta hope for a major blunder or 2 from Nebraska and hope Nebraska Nebraska's itself. Overall, not very hopeful to beat this bad Nebraska team as we've been consistently worse this year.
Nebraska 28
Illinois 20
I'm sad now. Yet again.
