Trap game? Let down game? I guess KB, Tomi and Ben will be the reason then since no one else on this roster has played Nebraska. Keaton won't be up for this game since he was never offered by a team that could have stolen their big brothers lunch money and the Balkans haven't heard of the state of Nebraska until this week. But yeah. they will underestimate an undefeated team, ranked team and BU yelling at them for the last 6 days about Big 10 play.
I will admit though I'm afraid the crowd may be smaller because of the weather. Someone on here said we get 2 Saturdays home games in the league this year and of course we get this weather.

I share your concern about the weather's impact on the crowd size. Does anybody else remember that frigid game so many years ago when we played Kentucky in the Hall and the refs couldn't get to the game? They went into the (small) crowd and found two guys who were IHSA refs. They suited up then took the floor. Only two back then. One of them, Ray Ahlrich, was my grade school principal!

I lived in Champaign, and back in the late 70's it snowed so much that we couldn't open our front door and school was cancelled for what seemed like a week. When we finally got out, all the kids in the neighborhood put on our snowsuits and organized a massive neighborhood snowball fight. My backyard had bushes that were probably 5ft tall and ran 40 ft along the fence. They were deep too. The snow drifts allowed us to climb up to the top of the bushes, and it was cold enough that the structure of the bushes froze, meaning we could tunnel inside them and walk along the top. That was the front line for the greatest snowball fight I've ever been a part of, and eventually we put on ski goggles and brought out the BB guns. It was awesome!

We had the BB gun fights without the goggles. Amazingly nobody had an eye shot out, despite the fears of Ralphie's parents in A Christmas Story.

Not as sure as it will be as bad as the Kentucky game of 83 but depending but if High Knees or DJ Baldy are Jon the docket, I would take my chances with pulling refs from the crowd.

He was also our AD at Central. When I was in school we played Lincoln Illinois who was highly ranked in the state because they had a player named Chuck Verderber. He went Kentucky. We held the ball all quarter when we had it. We lost and the final was 9-6. Horrible.

If you have DIRECTV and don’t have peacock check channel 619 during the game. It appears as the peacock channel and was showing an English soccer game earlier. I think it only activates for sporting events as they prep to reactivate the nbc sports network. It might be working during Illini game.
