They almost beat Indiana on the road cant take anyone lightlyWish we had a full week to prepare for someone better than NW.
If it doesn't, please consider a self-imposed lifetime ban on NU gamesJust bought my tickets. Let's hope this turns out better than me going to the NU football game.

Fair enough. Redeemed. I just started drinking from a new Illini mug on game days and we're 3-0 since, so maybe I can influence the outcome of the game in spite of being an out-of-state middle aged bald dude.I can't do that, Dave.
Not with the fact that I live in Chicago. I need to see them die in person. Also, I'm not one to actually believe I can influence the outcome of a game; I'm not suiting up.
I'll leave you with this: the last Illini home basketball game I attended was last March against Northwestern. We won that one.
Skyldub,
Just bought my tickets. Let's hope this turns out better than me going to the NU football game.
It's odd, but I feel the same way about how fragile our situation is. I really, really, really x 100.....wish we didn't lose that home game to Miami. I'd feel so much better if we didn't that have that looming. Obviously, NW and Nebraska need to be resounding wins. If we could pick up 2 or 3 more road wins, that would be ideal.Going through the remaining schedule, I put us at 20-11 to finish. I think we have the ability to get 22 wins this season, but I won’t drink that much kool aid yet.
Our season feels very fragile still, so...with that being said, this is a must win.
