This IL team has quit. Don't see us winning this game. They will run roughshod over our terrible tackling defense. Bad, bad end to what is shaping up as a disappointing season given pre season expectations.
When you’re being paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to not lose, that changes things. Better get our heads on straight.

We haven't forgotten how bad it's been, we've just seen how good it could be.
You must not have been watching northwestern....they are very physical and play very smart knowing they lack athleticism. Our lines are very soft, team is undisciplined and we rely on mistake prone teams to beat themselves to get Ws....thats not northwestern....they are going to bully our weak lines all game

Every time Illinois fans start building funeral pyres for the team after an inexplicable loss, the team itself actually bounces back quite nicely.
disagree, our lines are slow and unathletic (not "soft") just like NW's so it's a wash
Luke will be the difference, unless special teams bite us in the behind again

I am well aware of how Northwestern has played, and I am also aware of how Illini fans like to cry, throw tantrums, and say how everything about Illinois football is terrible and the absolutely worst whenever they have a bad loss. It was a bad loss to Wisky for sure, but we’ve bounced back from bad losses this season pretty well.
You using the term "every time" which implies this happens a lot just shows that pooping the bed is a consistent problem with this team and thats what we are frustrated with.
Brother our lines are soft, there isnt a lineman who has the power to move anybody.
Northwestern on the other hand moves bodies and play angry.
Northwestern is no pushover, But Illinois is better. It is at home. After coming off a bad loss Illinois finds a way to win.
We'll soon find out

I still think Illinois should win also. Will be an extremely disappointing final two games if they don’t and a sub .500 conference record if they lose.
