Thx 0440. Is Dain good to go tomorrow? (This 60+ y.o. body would be out for a few months after landing like that)

I think everyone knew it was a tailbone…..I guess my problem at the time was we didn't really know what it was. I would prefer they air on the side of caution in a situation where a player lands hard on their back like that. If he has to be subbed out so be it especially since it was already a dead ball for the foul call.
I've taken that fall before, but not at 270 pounds.I think everyone knew it was a tailbone…..
I would not classify Buie and Audiege as intelligent guards, the school they attend notwithstanding. They make very questionable plays all the time. Being older, they may succeed sometimes. But I think their BB IQ sucks.Illinois definitely has trouble defending intelligent guards. I think the NW game will tell a lot about the teams potential in the tournament. Can the team defend and win the turn over margin?
My wife’s mum is really PETTY.

I guess my question is this if he gets substituted for does he have to stay out the whole game? If not even though I think he made both free throws wouldnt it have been better to put in a lot better free throw shooter cause he’s not good at shooting them? I think his hip might’ve helped him shoot them softer actually haha.I think everyone knew it was a tailbone…..
Why would he be in practice uniform if he was in concussion protocol?
well this isn't good - if he's out again that's 3 games without him and this one is a must-win
Exactly....thinking we may see TSJ in uniform tomorrow nightWhy would he be in practice uniform if he was in concussion protocol?
This isn't chess....,can we please have just one game where everyone is healthy and at full strength????
I'm pretty sure Brad isn't going to show his hand until he has to, regardless of TSJ's current condition.
well this isn't good - if he's out again that's 3 games without him and this one is a must-win
Steve Bardo suggested that he was not optimistic thatt Shannon would play in that Underwood would be wise in holding him out if he could play.
well this isn't good - if he's out again that's 3 games without him and this one is a must-win
What isn't good? Brad isn't going to say if he plays or not. Him practicing says plenty.

Brad Underwood's sly a** talking to media is probably the least reliable source you could find

I might still be on the groundThx 0440. Is Dain good to go tomorrow? (This 60+ y.o. body would be out for a few months after landing like that)
I don't know why anyone would call Northwestern a big rival. We've beaten them 141 times (to 44 losses).
Or soccer where falling down and rolling around for a couple of minutes is pretext for getting a blow and perhaps drawing a penalty.Maybe so. It was just reeeaaallll uncomfortable watching him writhe around by himself. I'm probably much more used to football where the trainers are out there asap if someone goes down.
Yeah, no one is saying they are our biggest rival, but the overall record is not a deal breaker. Georgia/Georgia Tech (football), Kansas/Kansas State (basketball) and even Illinois/Missouri (both) are very clearly rivalries regardless of what the overall record is. A lopsided overall series record might diminish a rivalry, but it certainly doesn't disqualify it. I'm not a fan of "gatekeeping" rivalries, and I'm perfectly fine with calling Northwestern a "rival" on paper ... even if they're significantly far behind Iowa, Indiana or Missouri. There are other measures for being a rival...
