Looks like we play Ind/Rutgers.
As a fan since the 70s. Savor every minute. This team could be special.I can’t sleep I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeee this team
Thanks to UCLA backup QB Rick Neuheisel. Who as a coach years later got the University of Washington put on probation. Who to this day fills up the Pac-12 network with his hot takes.Little history lesson. There were many in 1983 who felt we should have played in a national football championship game instead in the Rose Bowl against a top 25 UCLA team. We got rolled by that average PAC10 champ.
Bottonline, energy and focus has to be to continue to win games.
It was truly a crap article. As sports journalism continues to decline....
SI fired all their normal reporters last year. They went from what they were to pretty much a troll blog site. Very hit and miss now.Didn't realize that SI has fallen this far. What a terrible, whinny article. Where is SI finding these guys.
Yeah...that was the game we played "after" Hugh Hefner invited the team over to the Playboy Mansion in recognition of our Rose Bowl appearance.Little history lesson. Wouldn't mind MSU taking the "rubber game" from the "champion" Wolverines. In fact, it would be cool for the Illini to get another shot at the Spartans in the tournament championship game.Isn't it interesting that if Michigan State wins its first game Michigan will wind up playing Michigan State threee consecutive games (for them, at least).
just wait, if MSU beats Maryland, Juwann Howard will complain to the league that its not fair for them to play the same team 3 times in a row and the game will get switched !!Isn't it interesting that if Michigan State wins its first game Michigan will wind up playing Michigan State threee consecutive games (for them, at least).

I know this point has been beaten to death, but please allow this additional observation. The champion being determined by winning percentage not only assumes that Michigan would have gone 3-0 in 3 games that it didn’t have to play, but also assumes no season-altering injuries happen in those games. Yesterday’s game proved those can happen at any moment. I would never wish that upon anyone, but as they always say, it’s “part of the game.”I could see Michigan losing in the first round regardless of who they play. Brooks rolled his ankle pretty badly so I don't see him coming back any time soon
