This makes no sense.

Firstly, they've been in Indy now for 2 days, along with the rest of the B1G after 7 straight negative tests for everyone involved with the team.

Secondly, the NCAA tournament is in Indy, and they are already in that bubble, so why leave?

Agreed - with the BTT being located in Indy, at this point, the die is cast. That's a not insignificant advantage for our conference with all this going on.
All they can do is stick to their protocols, stay safe, and ball out until the final buzzer.

Besides, if the worst comes to pass and the ACC teams are unable to participate in the NCAA tournament this year, they could just substitute them with the bottom 6 teams in the B1G and the quality of play wouldn't even dip.

They are already in the same bubble they're going to be in next week for the NCAA tournament. Since wins don't appear to be carriers of COVID when I last checked, I'd just as soon win the damned thing.

Man, with all these teams getting knicked out of their tournaments do to positive tests, I am now getting very nervous about exposure this weekend. Wish the NCAA would delay a week.

Delay a week and there might not be a tournament. Not saying that they don't test like crazy, but it's getting scary that there might not be a tournament.
