Ticket prices must be dynamic. In the last hour several sections that were $115 are now 143, and a lower bowl corner that was 150 is now 177. I would recommend getting tickets if you're thinking about it.
I don't think the school allotment has went on sale yet. Could wait and see what Illinois is charging for seats

Always surprised when I see this list how few SEC teams we actually have played.

And as an old-timer, that '82 Bama loss still gets to me, one of the most unique games you'll ever see. Was Bear Bryant's last game which made it a huge national story, Mike White was just starting to build what became as big of a Illini fan interest as we've seen (see 70,000 plus at Memorial Stadium), and that game would likely have been an Alabama loss if not for Kris Jenner replacing an injured Tony Eason for three plays and throwing interceptions on all three. Just as wild of a game for a "minor" bowl game as you'll see.
1988 v Florida someone I had never heard of named Emmitt Smith ran for 159 yards on 28 carries.

Well, Henry is still the DC so I expect many points for Tennessee as we give their WRs 10 yards of cushion and and only rush 3 at their QB

Tennessee 48
Illinois 31

Essentially its a damn Home game for Tenn. If there's any way the ILLINI can get shorted year in and year out it will get done!
Home field advantage has as much to do with being in your familiar routine as it does with the fans. This game is driveable for our fans, Nashville is a massive transplant city anyway, and Tennessee is 1-2 in their previous appearances in the game.

We don't always have to play victim.

Tennessee has played in the Music City Bowl three times previously and each time the game drew 68,000+.

I’d think our guys should be hyped to play in front of a big bowl crowd. To put it into perspective:

2022- Reliaquest had 36,000 fans.
2024- Citrus had 47,000 fans.

I’m 1-2 all-time. So maybe I should attend. (Both losses to MSU).
