Petty is way behind Boyd. Boyd is the clear cut 3rd string and even pushed Hampton at times for 2nd. Stature aside kid can sling it.

Leary might be 3rd string at Tulane fwiw...
I'm super excited for this year and know we should enjoy this season before thinking too much about next, but curious if you'd provide any early odds on next year's starter?

1. Look at you, gumshoe! Seriously, that is some impressive sleuthing on that one; IMO.
2. That’s a bit peculiar that Wisconsin and Massachusetts of all places share this…and nowhere else; or is it just me? Seems downright, random.
I grew up with it, but Mom is from Sout' Milwaukee.

What part of Wisconsin do you hail from Mr. Tibbs? Or perhaps closer to Boston...

I've mentioned before on here that I was born in Peoria but moved to Iowa City around age 8 (and grew up there through high school, as an Illini fan!). I distinctly remember my parents noticing two weird things that my sister and I started saying that they grew up not saying, as we learned speaking habits from those around us in Iowa:

1. Calling what my parents would call a water fountain a "drinking fountain," which is awesome to see laid out on this map.
2. Calling what my parents would call a parking deck a "parking ramp."

As a lifelong Metro East-ern/St. Louisan, I have no idea what either of these refer to...

funny

I know it’s called a bubbler in Wisc
I chose that word over “water fountain”, as I didn’t know if anyone under age 30 even knows what a water fountain , that you drink from , is .

do they even exist anymore ?

Bubbler sounds like a hookah. Far out! Blows my mind! George Harrison and Ravi! Summer of Love '67! Sitar!

They were called drinking fountains in Illinois in my time. Unsanitary. Hardly a fountain. Kids upchucking, spitting back water, hairs in the trap. No thanks. I avoid bubblers or whatever you call them. To this day: ick.

Not only do they exist, but they have a new lease on life due to the proliferation of reusable water bottles. I see them everywhere connected to the refill stations for those. Don't think the water fountain portion gets as much use as it used to, but they're still there.

Yup, been to Iowa 100 times and the 'ramp' thing will never not sound weird. Ramps are things that get you TO the deck, where you park. Or in a high-end restaurant, vegetables.

Elzy is starting - he’s the only one playing X in that grouping.
Robert has Elzy and Clement second string:

WR-slot | Beatty (SR) | Sanders (JR) | T. Griffin (rs-FR)
WR-x | Capka-Jones (SR) | Elzy (JR) | Bowick (JR)
WR-z | Dixon (rs-SO) | H. Clement (JR) | Hollins (JR)
