Wisconsin has a lot of parallels to the Ohio State team we played in the tourney final in '21. Just like Wisconsin this year, Ohio State started out the season red-hot with an 18-4 record before stumbling at the finish line with a 4-game losing streak. They then won 3 games in 3 days to get to the final including a one-point win over the 1 seed Michigan in the semi-finals, which means tomorrow's game will be a close game with the Illini coming out on top.
The good thing is that they played on Thursday and are playing 4 in 4 games. Can't tell you how many BTT final games I've seen a team run out of gas, lose their legs and shoot short in the second half of playing four games in four...including our Illini years ago.
We should be ready to go. I honestly wish we had a shot at Purdont but there's only one thing left to do....win the whole thing!

I think the Illini matches up well here. There's a part of me that thinks Wisky expended a lot of energy in that game against PU. They could have tired legs for tomorrow. If the Illini can come out, be aggressive and defend, they'll cover the spread.
