I dont think you guys really understand what this means... the perception immediately changes... dont be surprised if you see that talented WR from St. Louise announce very soon.

Is he immediately eligible or will he have a sit-out year?

Just asked in the other thread if this could move the needle for Thomas... this is very interesting. Honestly hadn't heard of this guy until tonight, and I'm shocked that's the case.

Well, this is nice to see from Lovie and the crew.

I see he's from Tampa, so I wonder if the Bucs connection is paying dividends (or maybe McGee recruited him for Louisville.)

We should probably temper our expectations for him to be a world-beater, though. It looks like he struggled as a FR/SO at VT: http://www.richmond.com/sports/coll...cle_515adbc2-1fc7-58d6-b468-ca885fd43a2a.html
Tech’s third-string offense had to re-run a play he was quarterbacking when Lawson, twice, went through his progressions without delivering a pass. That prompted new offensive coordinator Brad Cornelsen to yell at Lawson, “throw the ball.”
A source said the previous coaching staff thought Lawson hadn’t mastered the offense last season and that’s why his playing time was limited.
Still, this is likely a big step forward over the alternative.

Overly optimistic expectations are the only thing that keeps us going most years!!! Hope he can live up to the hype!

With his talent of the running ability and strong arm......expect McGee to be making all the checks and adjustments pre snap and better believe it will be.....1st option, 2nd option/check down....still nothing....tuck and run. Alllllllll day

Factor that in with Turner and Dudek coming back and we will be a very vertical passing attack
