Brad and staff watching these games…
A lot of the players in this event are treating it as a glorified AAU event. One could make a case for the best player for team USA U18. Kid really puts it out there….and looks like a great fit for us!
When you assembled this arguably best 4 and 5 star players on a team, the proverbial cream will rise to the top…..One could make a case for the best player for team USA U18. Kid really puts it out there….and looks like a great fit for us!
Not familiar with Canadian team, but they like us have won all games by blow outs.Anyone familiar with the Canadian team? Anyone on that team who either Illinois recruited or is committed to any USA colleges? In other words, any good players? Also, there is a place on the official website to choose an MVP. I didn’t do it yet, as I wasn’t sure if one had to wait until all the games are played, so I don’t know how it works.

You were expecting Meyer to be the next Keaton Wagler hidden gem?I just did a quick look on the FIBA site, and in their 101-48 victory over Puerto Rico, Canada grabbed 77 rebounds, setting a new single-game tournament record and the highest total recorded (since 2006). The North Americans also set a new record with 33 offensive rebounds. Maybe BU, with his emphasis on rebounding, should take a look at Maxime Meyer, who is leading the Canadian team with 10.8 rebounds a game.
Maxime Meyer and Lyris Robinson seem to be the two best players on the team, at least, statistics-wise.
Edit: Never mind, Meyer (7’1”) committed to Duke.
QC is averaging 11.8He currently leads all players regardless of country/team in rebounds per game.
The site said that the Group portion is over, and allowed me to vote for QC for MVP.Anyone familiar with the Canadian team?
