Lead off walks come around to score like 75 % of the time.......I know that's too high , but the Cardinals came back to tie the game and then Pallante walks the lead off batter..........That just pizzes me off.....Gotta bear down on the first batter after the offense got busy.........JMHO

If you can read lips you could see Palate wasn't too happy with himself when he walked off the mound at the end of the inning.

Arenado is in a complete funk this game..................Figured he would cool off some , but he's swinging at pitches way off the plate tonight.....

No one expected DeJong to be doing what he has so far this season......hope it continues

DeJong is doing what the Cardinals expected TON to be doing this season offensively. Both have a ton of pop WHEN they make contact

Summer Crow Kabobs
submitted by Gordon Krause (Crow Busters Founder)
Ingredients
16 pieces of crow breast meat (no bones) (8 crows)
16 pieces of green pepper
16 cherry tomatoes
8 button mushrooms
8 ears of sweet corn
1 1/2 cups of Teriyaki sauce
1/2 cup melted butter
8 kabob skewers
Preparation
Cut each piece of crow in half and place in a covered bowl with the Teriyaki sauce over night. Clean and cut each ear of corn into 3 pieces. Cook in boiling salt water for 10 minutes. Alternately put corn (3 pieces), green peppers (3 pieces) and cherry tomatoes (3) along with 4 pieces of crow meat on each skewer. Use 1 mushroom to top each skewer. Brush with melted butter and place on preheated grill for about 4 minutes. Flip, butter again and place back on grill for another 4 minutes. Repeat one last time for a total of 12 minutes or until they appear done. Serves four adults.
And here I thought all the cottage cheese talk was bad.

The Cardinals/Guardians game on FOX this Saturday will be airing at the same time as Reds/Cubs airs on FOX. I checked a pretty reliable website that I use and found that the Cardinals/Guardians game will air on FOX in the Springfield/Decatur/Champaign and Quincy markets and points south. The Reds/Cubs game will air in the Peoria/Bloomington market and points north.

TON is taking light swings off a tee than will need rehab stint. It has been a slow process and hopefully no setbacks...whether you want him on roster or traded

From yesterday's paper.......................................

O’Neill stops activities, Carlson to start them

Outfielder Tyler O’Neill has halted his baseball activities back in St. Louis as he and the team determine the next step in what’s become an extended recovery from a lower back strain. O’Neill missed his 18th game Tuesday and did not take batting practice as hoped Monday or moved closer to a rehab assignment that was already delayed.

TON is an injury prone player who has had 1 semi-great year out of numerous years of prolonged IL duration......................

From yesterday's paper.......................................

I am confused because the article was from the 23rd and read that he hit off a tee yesterday. Either way it is definitely a slower process than expected.

I said the same thing last month on here when he was not hurt and was told he was not injury prone (not you)

Cardinals beat the Reds 2-1 this afternoon in the getaway matinee game..........................

Mikolas was outstanding and went 7 innings for a quality start.............

Gallegos closed out the 9th , giving up a run , but then striking out the last 2 batters for the save...................

THATS A WINNER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amazed they won this game, with Marmol sitting Goldschmidt, Arenado, and Contreras all at the same time.
