I have been flustered with TON for a long time. Injuries happen and he is injury prone. He had one real good year filled with a bunch of so-so years. He is a difference maker if he can play 130+ games a year.

One year of arbitration left next season and has the Boras Corporation representing him. Time to cut the cord and trade him or work on a short term deal in the offseason. Paying this guy long term serious money would be a joke.

I sincerely hope that the Cardinals FO spends enough on pitching in FA and by trades that Pallante starts next season at Memphis.......Has been a big disappointment to me this year.........................JMHO

The Cardinals have the lowest batting average in all of MLB with the bases loaded..........

I watched the Phillies broadcast of the Cards game Sunday and someone asked Mike Schmidt about Jordan Walker's batting stance ,,,,,,He said it needed a lot of work as he looked off balance a lot of the time when swinging.......TIFWIW..........................

In-depth article about former Illini and Cardinal Scott Spiezio’s struggles with addiction. Well worth the read. ($)

On our way into the Game 3 of the 2016 WS, I got Dad to wear a "Spiezio" that I bought from a vendor for him. A little red sole patch like Scott wore. Dad was pretty straight laced no nonsense kind of a guy. He liked to initiate the joke but never to be the butt of a joke. He took it in stride. I took his picture before the glue worn out and it fell off. It's one of my favorite photos of him.

Thanks for posting these! It’s been almost a daily occurrence to see Saggese’s name doing something positive.

Problem is we have enough decent OFs who can play some D and not hit :ROFLMAO:

DeJong traded and let go....picked up

Bader traded and let go....will be picked up

Cardinals still have guys on the roster who have similar defensive skills yet liability at the plate
It’s true, and you are probably right. Plus, picking him up would be like Mo admitting he messed up on which outfielder to send.

But I liked Bader’s energy. He brought a bounce that we have been missing since he left.

Ultimately, I see us not picking anyone up unless it’s a pitcher and giving an open try out to the farm this last month.

The newfound legend of the BrockaBrella..................Walker with a 431 ft 3 run HR to tie it up 3-3 going into the top of the 5th.....................\

Chip Carey cracked me when he said to Brad T. " we are so stupid ".....................they had both put the rally BrockaBrella's on............
