been watching Libby pitch for 4-5 years now and it seems he is losing velocity as his right foot plants and his back and arm are a tad behind on his release point....tonight most of his pitches had little follow through as his torso was straight up and down when his arm was going through to his release......probably too late to address but it seems to me he is losing velo and pitch movement by his rigid form and follow through plant motion terminates any chance of increased movement...............JMVHO............

on Cardinal.tv it was a 90 minute delay so I watched Memphis and Springfield games instead........very entertaining games , both won their games......Gorman is in Fla. I believe and Saggese didn't play last night.....VS II batting .344 aand made an outstanding catch also...........

Wetherholt 3-5 , 3 R , 3 RBI's , 2 HR.........so glad he fell to the Cardinals and the 7th pick in that draft year.... ROTY in my mind....

Walker 0-4 , but a great home run robbing catch in RF ...........

8 total pitchers for the Cardinals and it's becoming clear that O'Brien is not the long term answer as the closer.....he was lights out at the start of the season but is hanging on by a thread right now . IMHO............

D-Backs and Arenado come to STL tomorrow..............LET'S GO CARDINALS.............

Way to hold on today. Perez clearly missed the plate on the tag in the 9th. You could see dirt between the plate and his hand. What a terrible call to not reverse it on replay

Today Jordan Walker has fallen from 6th to 8th place in All-Star voting. This is totally shameful, given that he's near the league lead or leading the league in most categories.

Another solid start by Pallante. With 9 wins, he is 1 win behind the National League leader.

A 1-2-3 9th inning.

When Arizona brought in the new pitcher in the 9th, the camera showed the batting coach talking to the upcoming hitters. Right after the coach started talking, they went to commercial. That would be interesting to hear what they talk about.

Fun team to watch.

The pitching is not there yet. Hopefully there are some young arms developing in minors.

I put us at 50/50 to make playoffs and go out in first round. Not bad with $49M payroll, Looks like we are paying $40M cash for Arenado, Contreras, Sonny Gray to play for other teams and $4.4M in deferred to Arenado, Wainwright and Holiday.

Arenado has 1 more year after this year plus deferred
Contreras has 2 more years after this year
Gray only has mutual option for next year

We sold high on Brandon Donavan - he has only played in 25 games this year (injured)

The Cardinals have traded right-hander Chris Roycroft to the Rays in exchange for a player to be named later or cash, per announcements from both clubs. St. Louis had designated Roycroft for assignment a few days back.

Oh no....well there goes the season
