I want Fubo to stop being babies and let Venu TV become a reality. Or actually better, just channel providers stop forcing services to buy all your channels.

It's not Fubo causing the issue. Disney (ESPN) announced in January that they are acquiring a 70% stake in Fubo and will be merging it with Hulu+Live TV.

Anyone auto-charged by BIG+ ? I received an email saying I was billed and I would have sworn I cancelled it last year soon after subscribing to avoid the auto-renew. And to my knowledge, there was no notification --I couldn't find anything in my email about it. I removed my credit card today to try to prevent it from auto-renewing again. According to their website if you don't request a refund within 24 hours, they won't provide one. I really don't like these kinds of "services" --feels more like they're trying to trick you. This sort of thing is a sure-fire way to make sure I never subscribe again, but I'll withhold judgement to see how they respond and if others have issues. Fortunately I saw the email, but it asks to create a ticket, and I didn't get any kind of confirmation which seems unusual for a ticketing system.

Anybody know how I can get access to games while I’m in Europe? I’ve done the VPN thing abroad before but any time I log into a service provider they make me turn on my location before granting me access to watch, so that doesn’t work- unless someone knows any tricks. Really pisses me off because I’m paying for these services but can’t watch anything on my downtime while traveling. I mean, I’ll have like 15 hours on planes and at airports on my way home. Any suggestions?

Edit: I had a blurb about whether YouTube TV would remember my record settings while my account is paused for the summer but just saw it’s still turned on so worst case scenario I watch everything when I get back…

Just got this from Peacock. Goes into effect on the next monthly billing cycle.

I went to DirecTV stream last year and regret not cutting cable sooner. I considered Fubo and SlingTV as sports was the main criteria. None of the services is perfect.

I’m into golf and I subscribed to Golf Pass, which includes Peacock. I may do the Verizon bundle for ESPN this season in order to get the plus sports content, and this also includes Disney and Hulu at a good rate.

As mentioned before, there tend to be great annual deals on streaming services around Black Friday.

Just got this email about 1/2 an hour ago. Just in time for the start of football. I was hoping I was done with this crap when I dropped Dish over this same thing several years ago.

Greed is real….

I feel like a gerbil on a never ending streaming wheel controlled by evil corporations……

And all I want to do is to watch my Illini and a few NFL games. Why can’t they let us have a few nice things?

"Cancel" your service. You might get a free month when they ask "are you sure?"

Just found a new streaming service that includes B1G Network. Fox One, for $19.99/MO. This may be old news, but I just discovered it. Will be trying it out this week!
