Based on past experience, not likely.
If I had some reason to believe in them. This would be the right way. But not only do I have no confidence. I assume they are making more mistakes in the process. This is what I have been trained to believe from past results.
Actually, I don't think we've heard a peep since the search firm went online on December 16. I would imagine that, in addition to vetting the top candidates and serving as an intermediary, that firm probably also advised the admin on the basics of getting its house in order. Meaning, go dark internally and form a truce with the malcontent factions while you put the deal together. This isn't Korn Ferry's first rodeo.

I know it's good that the search firm has put everything on lockdown, but this thread was entertaining for good and bad for awhile. Feels like Korn Ferry hijacked it.

I came in this morning, expecting to see even more Chip Kelly comments than there were. Does everybody else just also feel that even dreaming of him coming to C-U is beyond the imagination? Its sort of like buying lottery tickets. I enjoy those "what would I do with all that money?" thoughts until the drawing date. C'mon down Mr. Kelly !! Your clipboard awaits.

I think our odds of shutting down the athletic program are better than our odds of landing Kelly! Obviously I'm exaggerating but not by much!

Sean Payton is a no-brainer if available to coach. Shanahan, may be too old to take on such a large challenge.
