MT was playing the exact same game at this point, with the exact same pitch and the exact same war chest (relative to the financial conditions of the time).

He just had a poorly researched list.

If we end of with Keatts I will be pleased. The thoughts of Marshall, Miller of Bennett just don't seem plausible to me. I still have confidence that we will get a good coach. There are two things that concern me about the Indiana news. First they will end up with a better coach than Crean. Second, if they don't move fast the coaching search slows down for everyone.

My god. We've put together a list about 7 guys deep that are viable good hires. 1 job opens up and suddenly all of them are taking other jobs. We've given JW plenty of praise since he took the job. Let the guy do his job and if he's as good as we all think/want him to be, were coming out of this with a really good basketball coach.

Watching this UNCW offense, I think recruits would love playing for Keatts. I wouldn't mind seeing this offense in Chambana.

Best outcome of the UVA-UNCW game is for Keatts to lose. A win/loss for Bennett has no effect on his stock or our coaching search, a win by Keatts will make his stock explode. Not good the way things are shaping up.
