Clark Kellogg spoke very highly of him on TV this evening with Charles and Kenny. Said he had a great eye for getting the pieces he wanted and developed players very well.

Well, it ain't splashy, and he could be Snyder at Mizzou, but he could also be his brother...who does pretty well. (sans the somewhat sketchy rumors)
Lol people. Before the game today "Bryce Drew would be a home run" now because of one game they came back in and their player made a dumb mistake "GOD PLEASE NO". Vandy was nothing talented or special yet he got them there. Please tell me I'm not alone that this would be a very good hire.

the idea of drew PLUS Powell gets me somewhat excited. not a splash, no, but maybe more realistic than other names out there

I have read tons of posts on here about possible coaches over last 5 days. In many cases, Bryce Drew was mentioned as someone that we should want......hell, we should have gotten him last year.
Now, that he lost a tournment game today......by the way...with players he didn't recruit and aren't particularly good......nobody wants him.
If we get ANY of Miller, Marshall, Bennett, either Drew brother or Keatts........everybody here should be happy. Significant upgrade over Groce.....and, long-term, a much better coach than Cuanzo.

I really liked the way he handled the post game...not that we need another coach whose biggest talent is winning pressers...but he comes across as both grounded and sincere.

Plus, brings the Rev home

Plus, has a shady brother to mentor him hahaha
Minus, don't get the warm and fuzzies that he can keep this current recruiting class together and add Smith UNLESS he retains Walker
All in all, a respectable hire with a potential big upside

Well, I agree, but it seems like plenty of others think it has to be Marshall or Miller. Of course, I like them both, but I do like Drew. I just never thought he was in play because he wouldn't leave Vandy after one season.
