Is it just me, or does it sound like this panel COULD decide to reinstate TSJ while still being charged? I am shocked.
I feel that this presser is going better so far than I thought it would. I still have a slither of hope that TJ will be reinstated eventually

Starting to think that weird random tweet had some validity.
I’m saying it. This “me too” movement has gone too far. Unfortunately I’ve seen this happen to clients of mine and have been called to the stands because of nonsense like this. The accusers have complete immunity.

They’d better be sure he will eventually be exonerated, or it could put the program back for longer than a year. This is a no win situation…

I give JW an A+ for the way he handled his opening remarks over the first 20 minutes
JW says he could be reinstated by the DIA before the criminal case is resolved.
Another example of a fundamentally good thing being completely abused and used as a weapon.
There is hope he can be reinstated.
I feel a lot better about this situation than I did 30 minutes ago.

Josh Whitman stated that Terrence can play if there is a resolution to the legal process or the 3 person DIA panel votes to reinstate him before the legal process finishes. His status is on life support, but not dead yet - my words, not his.
Josh also stated that the panel is determinary, not advisory. Neither he the AD nor Robert Jones the Chancellor can overrule it, and whatever decision it makes is final.

Anyone know who's on the DIA panel?
It doesn’t seem like they would risk it even saying that unless they feel pretty good about it being a likely scenario.

I don’t know if it’s my own biases, but this did not sound like a man who thinks TSJ is guilty, and honestly seems pissed off that it’s gotten this far. I didn’t hear a single negative word about TSJ, didn’t hear the word victim, and we got a lot of info about how the panel works and makes decisions. I’ve gone from thinking TJ will never suit up again to “it’s not unlikely.”

Sounds like I heard that this panel meets within 48 hours. Is this correct?
Whitman also said the three person panel had to meet within 48 hours of the suspension.
Which, based on the timeline presented at the press conference, means either that the panel has already met (if they use the Wednesday verbal suspension) or will meet by tomorrow (if they use the formal written notification of the suspension).

Within 48 hours they can convene and vote. Also sounds like no office on campus believed he should have been facing anything serious from the beginning and Kansas PD is shady and bad with paperwork/communication
