Won't be shocked if Rodgers is playing at least 20 minutes a game for us from the start.

I'm not sure anyone on team USA has made a non-FT from more than 3 feet from the basket.

Team USA leads 48-16.

Update: Someone hit from like 10 feet.

Somewhat sloppier to start the second half, but then again they lead by 47.

Oregon signee Kel'el Ware has probably been the best player on the floor in the first 3 quarters, but Rodgers is contributing in all facets and is always visible when he's on the court. He's guarding both at the perimeter and down low, has brought the ball up a few times, has spent time out on the wings, and has posted up down low a few times as well. Very versatile and high-energy.

116-48 final.

Tomorrow they'll plan an Ecuador team that is probably worse than today's opponent. Puerto Rico Wednesday might be OK, but the better teams are all in the other pool.

hmmm...don't think I remember that one.
Even if nobody said it here, I do think that the poor scouting by the ratings sites has left us wondering exactly what caliber player we have. His rating for the U18 team is an anomaly. Good news keeps trickling in and he just seems to impress everywhere he plays. But the company he is keeping up with now is as we like to say, “elite.” So just as an honest question, where do we think he should be rated, and how many years do y’all think he will be playing here (before he goes pro)?
