After a 3rd weather delay, Iowa is battling Nevada with 9mins left in the 4th. Up 20 but Nevada is playing tough. I think Illinois could hang with this Iowa team.

Kansas still going

KU --- Are they still going 1-8 in conference, or is there really something there??
Double digit wins AT West Virginia and Houston plus a blowout against tenn tech? That’s not a fluke. That’s someone who can coach.

“Coach Lance Leipold now has won the same amount of road games this season (two) as the last five KU head coaches combined to win in their tenure at the school.”

and it will be their luck that he gets poached by someone either this December or next year

Auburn was full for the start of the game yesterday but it sure emptied when things weren’t going well for the home team. THAT is embarrassing. If you come to the game, hang in the to the end. Where’s the loyalty?

Of course we put Kansas on the schedule when they are the worst team in college football and when we finally play them they are going to be an 8 or 9 win team. OF COURSE this is our luck…
We SHOULD be stepping up in class, though. If we can’t beat a middling Kansas team then we’re not improving.

This unfortunately has happened before. In 1968 we scheduled KU when the hadn't won in decades. They killed us 47-7. Key Kansas players were QB Bobby Douglas (Bears) John Riggens (Redskins) and John Zook (Rams). Ugly I was there.

From the Indy Star after indicating that Purdue committed 7 penalties in the final 51 seconds of yesterday’s game: “Syracuse declined the last one. By that point the Orange didn’t need Purdue’s help anymore. The Boilers had already done enough to lose this game. And their fan base. And a job or two on the Purdue coaching staff, perhaps. Maybe more. Maybe all of them, someday.”

Wish I had watched that purdont game ........sounds like an entertaining game to view
The first half was slow at 14-6 but the second half was very entertaining. The first PU game I've watched from beginning to end when they weren't playing us. Watched the Penn St game too. I was so desperate to watch some football on Saturday. It's sort of like when your gf leaves. Once something is not readily available, you crave it more than when you had it. That's how I feel during a bye week without Illinois football!
