Did Wisconsin not get every call down the stretch.? How was storr going to even get a shot off on that last foul? But, I guess that’s what happens when you play in Madison.

Wahl gifted with the foul there at the end. How is it a foul if you vacate an area when someone is putting weight on you and they fall down when you move???

The free throws were what I was imagining late game could look like for the beloved after the first few games. Just painful, but I guess they are Minnesota for a reason.

Is Wisconsin really that improved from last year? I haven't been able to watch them that much thus far. I know storr is a stud but I usually think when we are good we can handle them. When we were good, we do what they do but better 😉

Am I off this year?

I’ve only seen a few of their games but I would describe them as a seasoned team with a few new talented players. Plus, before tonight, they were shooting red hot. Thier defense is pretty typical Wisconsin defense, which tends to be stout. Granted, my sample size is small, I think they are beatable.

I’d say their defense is definitely not on brand this year. They can get pushed around a bit on that side of the ball from the games I’ve seen. A lot of teams they’ve played just can’t contain their offense which is weird to say about Wisconsin.

Ok so sounds like maybe the hot offense may not last on big ten play. That's what boggled my mind about their kenpom ranking. They were horrible on offense last year I think maybe not even top 100. Maybe their defense will get back to Wisconsin way as well.

Edit: they finished as 140th offensive team and 19 in defense in kenpom last year

Storr really opens up a lot for them. Allows them to push the pace which is also weird to say about Wisconsin. Klesmit has also been unbelievable from 3. Those are two big things boosting their offense this year.
