tonight wahl easily got to his spot in lane 5 feet from rim (and crowl once or twice) and they were deadly with the flip shot / soft hook. MN defense was bad esp on ball. storrs and hep put pressure on MN def they couldn't handle. MN offense was bad, no flow. MN was scorching from 3 to start 2nd half. but C+ game from WI was just enough as MN was 5/13 on FTs.

Now for the biggest shocker of the night: Purdue beating Michigan 49-25 at halftime.

And Edey only has 6 points on 2/7 shooting.

I think we match up very well with Wisconsin.

Storr is their best athlete but he isn’t TSJ (TSJ is 1 of 1, no offense to Storr he’s a terrific player)

Ty is too big, too strong & too fast for Hepburn on both sides of the ball if that’s who guards them. If they want to throw a big, LOL.

Crowl isn’t super physically imposing, Coleman’s quickness & versatility will make it hard on him to feel comfortable.

Klesmit has been good lately, Domask will need to be locked in if that’s his matchup but I think they more or less weigh eachother out.

Quincy & Wahl will be a fun matchup too, but if we get an aggressive Q than I like this too.

There’s a reason why we haven’t lost to Wisconsin in a while … We just out athlete them and wear them down. Let’s just keep winning and continue that Madison wink streak…

Also, don't forget, they had no answer for Kofi.

Would it really be a bad thing if Purdue lost and Michigan had a marquee win as an excuse to keep Howard around?
BTW I think they'll keep him around at least another season regardless of whether this one ends up truly in the ditch. They had great patience with Ammaker's mediocrity. Juwan's a program legend, has had much more success than Ammaker, and can write this season off to his heart problems and losing Hunter (among others). I don't think they can him until at the very least they suck badly next season and again fail to make the NIT.

15 Purdue players took shots tonight and 13 scored. Wouldn’t mind our bench getting more PT when we’ve got the game in hand. Helps contribute to the “team” concept.

Damn it, Goofs…
We want our win against WI to be a real good one more than we want 1st place in the BT, IMO
They are already ranked below us. We've won the BT enough lately so it's ho hum to me BTT even more ho hum. High seed is way more important for this team that can really do some damage in the dance with the right match-ups. I think we beat PU at our place, too

BYU couldn't make a shot down the stretch. I'm not impressed with either of these top 10 kenpom teams.

Let’s just appreciate what Howard has done with that program…crazy to think just 3 years ago he was national coach of the year. What’s the opposite of a masterpiece? Whatever that is, it’s exactly what Howard’s last 3 years have been. Just an incredible nosedive
