It isn't even close, in my opinion. In fact, I think Hummel is the heir apparent for the major national coverage options if that's what he chooses to do. The only thing that may hold him back is he doesn't have a schtick like the big-name guys like Raftery and Bilas have. Hummel just analyzes the game, and the major networks probably won't like that he doesn't create a bunch of narratives and viral social media moments.
(OK, that last line was probably me yelling at a few clouds. But that kind of stuff does get old pretty quickly.)
