Sure has been hard to watch Michigan go through a tough season...
Man, the Big Ten offices were probably so excited to get the spotlight for the final day of the regular season when they set the schedules. But now we're left with a bunch of absolute duds outside of our game, which is clearly the highlight of the day and maybe Wisconsin at Purdue. Michigan State at Indiana could be competitive but it just means absolutely nothing.Sunday, March 10

Iowa women just fought back to take the lead in the third quarter. Exciting game to say the least.Iowa women done 11 at halftime of Big Ten championship game at Carver North. Obviously Iowa men have us today at sold-out Carver Could make a record amount of Iowa misery to lose both these games in about an 8-hour period.
Not a Purdont fan but Winter should probably have been ejected for that bush league move. Hook and hold plus severe undercut.Tominaga is on another heater at Michigan - 11-15, 5-8 on 3s, 28 points with 13 minutes left. Refs are still taking care of Edey. He climbed on the back of Winter for a tip, so they called a Flagrant 1 on Winter. B1G refs are the worst in the nation, and even worse when Purdue is involved. I hope Purdue takes another 1st round exit, with Edey (rightly) being called for 4 fouls in 10 minutes.
Love to see the all-out effort by both teams. Getting chippy too as usually does when Iowa involved.Iowa women just fought back to take the lead in the third quarter. Exciting game to say the least.
Obscene flagrant called on Wisconsin against Edey. He’s just allowed to put his elbow right over your shoulder if you are trying to rebound anywhere near him.
I think it’s UCONN, Houston and everybody else. They are both built for March and I expect it to be the national championship unless they end up on the same sideI think you spelled "Houston" wrong. UConn lost by 20 at Creighton last week.
I’m of the school of thought that there’s not a team in the country we can’t beat… except Purdue. They just present such serious matchup problems to what we like to do. Edey and Purdue is our kryptonite.they just did a halftime segment asking who the biggest threat to Purdue in the big ten tourney was, and Casey Jacobsen mentioned Nebraska and Northwestern and not us. I hope that clip is playing on loop in Ubben this week.
I don't think we can beat UConn or Houston, but I think we can beat Purdue. I truly think the gameplan in the first half worked, and we went away from it for some reason.I’m of the school of thought that there’s not a team in the country we can’t beat… except Purdue. They just present such serious matchup problems to what we like to do. Edey and Purdue is our kryptonite.
Yes, we could’ve won the other night, but when push came to shove, Purdue flexed its inside-outside game to perfection. We would’ve need to make every shot to keep pace with them.
Bring on every other team and let other teams with better matchups (and there are only a few) tackle Purdue.
Four hour drive for them from Minneapolis to Iowa City. Assuming they stay for the trophy celebration, they’re not getting out of downtown for another half hour. I have to think Carver-Hawkeye Arena, despite the sellout, will either have empty seats or seats filled with orange. With so many Ia fans in Mn girl’s game the Ia crowd will be all tuckered out.
