This is true. But it still seems a little above and beyond to hit up recruits as well as UofIHoopsRecruits.

Just thinking outside the box.....I don't think there is a nutpunch gif grand enough for if DJ announced tomorrow that he wants to be a Jayhawk

First thing mentions football go figure
Guarded optimism - Illinois like with "big names" go elsewhere. Same type of feel.
Illinois wasn't considering Illinois until Groce comes in.
Illinois offers more minutes initially. ND rotation is set. Have to be really good to earn starter mins
Not sure DJ's impact on team?
Worried DJ is just throwing ND a bone.
Been on ND campus over 24 times.
Play pick up games with ND during Summer with Beachem
Curious why DJ is taking so long if he is going to ND.
DJ likes the attention(duh)
If such a slam dunk why not sooner rather later. Seems confusing for him.
DJ very private with his recruitment. NO WORD is out from DJ's camp
EVERYTHING is speculation. DJ is telling no one.
Thinks DJ known for awhile but just not telling.
Going through DJ's life
DJ might want a fresh start or it might be hard to leave home.
Back and Forth on ND side as well where DJ will go.
DJ is a pass first guard. Very dynamic. Tired of writing about him but after event he couldn't help but write about him.
ACC joining: Basketball definate excitement. Big East in future isn't what ND signed up for so ACC was a better fit.

ND guy on ESPN radio is first to make a good a point. With such a complicated family background (father in prison, mother had to give him up). DJ might be wanting to get a fresh start in a new place.

I read somewhere in the million pages here that DJ likes the screen & roll JG runs. If he really wants to get to the Association. He should come here.

The NBA for PGs is exclusively a pick and roll league.

We shall see we shall see....

I think its as simple as the playing time situation. He's be handed the keys to Illinois basketball by Groce. At ND Atkins will clearly be running the show (rightuflly so). I think Groce has him sold on this and I think he's coming to Illinois.

I mean they know they're a football school but still can't fathom that ILL recently has been a much better bball program.
