NIU is having giving a defensive clinic to Nebraska. Two pick-6's in the first qtr....ouch. Tanner lee has thrown 6 int. in the last 2 games.

Does Purdue really have much more talent than Illinois? That's why I think the praise for Lovie needs to be toned down a little.

I don't know if the talent is better necessarily. The attitude seems to be better than it was under Hazell.

Even though today's game against ISU hasn't gone the way I would have liked, this was one highlight for me from College Gameday this morning: https://twitter.com/BarryOnCampus/st...68757171130368

Final score in the 106th Mid-America Classic in Charleston: ISU 44 EIU 13

3rd straight year in this series the road team is taking the trophy back to their respective campus.

Without looking, I would bet their offensive and defensive lines are both older and more experienced than ours. It makes a huge difference. Our guys were simply getting pushed around last night. That will change as they mature and build more strength. When you go as young as we are it will take time for them to be physically equal to the upperclassmen they are playing against.

That and they probably have a serviceable quarterback.

So idk. Shouldn't tenn have like 4 guys across the goal line in that situation? That seems like truly, actual awful coaching, as opposed to those who were angry at our staff that lost to a significantly better team on the road.

Watchng Texas/USC last night... was really impressed with the way their qbs were able to throw the ball downfield for big chunks of yardage. Sometimes under pressure. Now the pressure was usually after they already had some time to look over the field. And that time to let receivers work downfield was invaluable but, the way the way they were able to indentify open receivers and get the ball to them is something I hope to see from us in the near future.

FLORIDA- TENN game was a war.

9 seconds to play tied Florida with the Ball at their 37 yard line and they throw a perfect strike 67 yards to a waiting receiver to win the game. What a great SEC matchup
