That replay was pretty obvious that he didn't make it to the 3. These refs are horrible. What an absolute game changing call, twice. You hold them there, Illinois can milk the clock and maybe close out the game

To be fair, all of that could have been avoided by avoiding the horsecollar tackle earlier on. But big miss, I thought the overhead view clearly had him down at the 3.5.

None of that would have happened if Chunky just ran Tommy Armstrong out of bounds instead of horse collaring him. Oh well, a long drive and an answer with a field goal or TD is what we need!

Yeah, it might have actually been three blown calls, The replay didn't show a hand inside the collar. It showed a shoulder being violently whipped around.

We've played lights out. And improved in every facet of our game. But for the moment, it's hard not to focus on the fact the refs gave the game away.

He did grab the horse collar but it was after he already grabbed him by the shoulder.
