Moore won't get any real playing time in the post unless he adds like 20-30 lbs of muscle. I don't see him getting much playing time in his first year or two so I don't think he'll affect Wilkes' position on the court. I don't see his commitment having any positive effect on Wilkes.

Yeah he is NOT a guy who is going to step in and immediately play a lot in the B1G. So I really don't see it having any effect on Wilkes at all.

He's a top 150 recruit who is 6-10 and over 200 pounds. IU will play him at the 4 before they ask him to play in the post. They have played Hartman in the post he's 6-7 btw.

IU now has 4 guys who will play in the post before Wilkes. Davis, Morgan, Smith and Moore.

So they're not gonna ask him to play in the post but he's gonna play in the post?

Moore was a backup plan to "No Wilkes". IU fans just don't like to admit it.

Next big question is will Wilkes be @ Hoosier Hysteria on Oct. 22nd. My guess is he breaks his 3 in a row string and is NOT there.

That would be telling. Not definitive, but certainly significant.

How big of a pariah, in Indiana, is Wilkes if he goes to UI over iu?

Moore was brought in to assure Wilkes that he won't ever have to play in the post. I mean theres more to it than that, but theres a reason IU made sure to get him on campus the same weekend. A visit that was done on short notice btw.

Bringing in Moore only helps IUs pitch.

Technically they are oversigned by 2 now. But those are just OG and Thomas Bryant. So really not oversigned at all.

This article from the summer calls him a small forward.

Have they told Moore that he is going to play the four? :)

I think a bigger question is, who all shows up this weekend for Kiirs visit, Would it be a sign if JT, DW, JP and Wilkes all showed up to take in the PU game and hang out with Kiir just saying its a shorter drive for wilkes then JT or JP

Probably just showed him video of Christian Watford a very successful 3 that Crean had play the 4.

There really isn't that much difference between the 2-4 in Creans system. He'll plenty of times last year we had three 3s on the court.

Doesn't Hartman take up another scholarship next year or is Crean going to "Matt Roth" him since he got hurt and he needs scholarship room?

Welp, that would indeed be a jaw dropper and pretty big tell. Lord, let's hope you're right.

Crean always has Tim Priller @ his disposal if need be.:D

Clappy: He told Wilkes that he had a non-commit offer and Moore that he had a commit-able one.

And, that is what happened.

Was Dee officially on staff last time Walker visited or was he still in the AD's office? I am sure everyone is aware of the 6 yr old version of MW with Dee. Would be nice to lock him up early since '19 is likely another bigger class.

Not a very good sign when you repeatedly contradict yourself and confuse even yourself in your own posts. First, you said that Moore will play the 4, then you said that taking Moore only helps IU's pitch with Wilkes, now you say that 2-4 positions do not matter at IU.

Which one is it? If 2-4 do not matter, and you add Moore, how exactly does it enhance the pitch to Wilkes? It may not matter because Wilkes is better and he may play over Moore anyway, but how does adding Moore exactly enhance the pitch to Wilkes? And OK, Wilkes may not care, Moore does not care either by the plethora of players at his potential positions (3 or 4) with a strong possibility of adding Wilkes to those players?

Coverin' all bases. No sense using logic with some folks. If Wilkes chooses IU, he'll be right. lol
