Foggy Notion

I don't think you can reprimand his choice, but you can reprimand how he handles that choice. I'm sure as a 17-18 year old kid in ESL he's seen a lot more of the real world than my son or your son has. He's grown up facing pressure, badgering and intimidation probably his entire life.
Illinois was in Carlton Bragg's final 3 before he committed to Kansas, correct? I say we should go get him
Everyone stop hoping tilmon decides to come to Illinois. It is NOT happening. He will be at Mizzou.
Did you know that if you say "banana" very slowly that it sounds like "gullible?"
I think it's obvious that Ayo Dosunmu, Talen Horton-Tucker, Tim Finke, Torrence Watson, and Kezo Brown will be on the radar for 2018. Dosunmu is the only top-50 talent in that group. Kezo likely won't get an offer and we'd probably only take one of the remaining three.
I'm making some assumptions here, but if we end up taking four in the '17 class (no Tilmon or Smith, but get one late commitment/enrollee - HS or JUCO), sign a 5th year big, and lose one player to attrition, we could have three scholarships available for 2018. Any sense for what C/PF types Underwood and Antigua might be able to get in on? Any of these (?):
Moses Brown
Emmitt Williams
Darius Days
Russell Barlow
Brock Cunningham
Coach U. will offer Amauri Hardy a scholarship if one becomes available.
Forget potd, this is post of the year already, right here.

Looks like Izzo will get his guy
On the contrary, just because these kids grow up in tough underprivileged environments does not make them better prepared to control processes and make decisions, especially under extreme pressures. This is not about surviving a fist fight in a dark alley. Educational studies show the exact opposite, that kids who grow in such environments are generally ill-prepared to face the real business world and make the correct, educated decisions. And are much more susceptible to outside influences.

brilliant
According to this article:

Coach U. will offer Amauri Hardy a scholarship if one becomes available. Or did we know that already? Sounds like just from an attitude perspective we should get him at least for our games against Michigan and MSU. He wants pay back for not being considered by those two schools.
Brock Cunningham's high school coaches think he's more of a mid major guy for what it's worth. Solid player, strong, good post moves, but lacks the level of athleticism needed for a 6'9 guy to be a high major big.
I would rather have Chase Jeter.
Bragg got arrested for battery but the charges were dropped, then after that he got arrested for possession. Kansas had 4 starters get arrested this year alone. His character is very questionable. I would rather have Chase Jeter.
