As far as the weigarten tweet I’m going with THT’s mom that if it’s not directly from her or her son to not pay attention. I’m also going to completely ignore all pro Illini retweets by tht prior to his decision. Pro Illini tweets (self created) and quotes carry significantly more weight imo.

When the first Illini BB game you saw had Manny Jackson on the team, you've seen alot.

As bad as the Knight situation at Wisconsin was, six months later, they passed on Bo Schembeckler to hire a coach no one remembers.

I don't think Wisconsin dodged a bullet, I think they took it right between the eyes.

Great story. The problem is that Michigan had already hired Bo 2 years prior

That was an unofficial visit, I believe. I'd interpret this as trying to get him on campus for an official visit now that there is some momentum and he wouldn't have to be pitched on starting out the class. Stronger pitch with Ayo in the fold.

On a personal note, BPJ has always been on the top of my want list. We’d have our first rim protector since Egwu and an unlimited ceiling of potential.

The cool thing about this for me imo, is that this was supposed to originally happen sometime during the season. At least, that was the target. But since Ayo's commitment the staff has been trying to put a rush on it! Looks like the staff may be trying to capitalize on the old "Mo" if you ask me, and I like it!

Oh there's THT news floating around out there believe me, it just hasnt reached this board yet! Lol im not trying to be "cryptic" either.

I will say this, the # of Simeon students at the UofI is strong. There was alot of action on campus last night, and THT was having a blast from what I've heard!

I feel like the recent responses lead me to several conclusions. The first is that news hasn't reached this board but must be available on one or more premium services, i.e. there's news but it's radio silence for those of us on the free boards exclusively.

Second, based on several responses, clearly we are not getting THT based on said info and we should therefore joke about re-visiting Nolley.

Third, based on responses, clearly we are getting THT.
