I was going to defend him earlier when you posted, but when I looked his stats up and saw this, I had to leave it at thatIs 24% from three bad??

Let's make it comparable to 2 pt. %. If you took 20 shots from 3 pt. territory @ 24% that would be 4.8 baskets. Let's upIs 24% from three bad??
I wonder how Alstork would do now. Illinois was still trying to mimic the SF Austin identity. and Alston was picking up 3 cheap fouls a game 40 feet from the basket. I think he could have had success in a different system.I mean Alstork was a good 3 pt shooter until the Illini rims broke him.
You are not alone on the memory thingThanks for helping me out with all the information!!! Anyone remember Brad Melton? I think I spelled name correctly. Just my very limited thoughts and intelligence on players and the recruiting process. Seems like a similar player. Why can I remember things from more than10 years ago better than now? Uh oh, think I answered my question.
Yeah, there was a lot going on that year that isn't now. That is one player I felt particularly bad for. To his credit, he became an excellent on-ball defender by the time the season was over.I wonder how Alstork would do now. that to 5 baskets which would total 15 points. From 2 pt. distance that would be 7.5 baskets. 7.5/20 = 37.5%. What does that tell
you about 24% from 3 point distance?
Not for me, but I'm pushing 60.Is 24% from three bad??
Good job, your comment made me laugh!Rule number 1 on Loyalty, no math!!
Yeah. I guess my statement didn't really make any sense. If TyTy is signed, I doubt we'd want/be able to get a starting caliber transfer, so it's probably more an either/or than a depth chart thing. Lots of moving parts this off season, that's for sure.haha no, tyty is an automatic starter if he comes here. Top 15 player in the class imo.
He and Aaron Cosby... Woof...I mean Alstork was a good 3 pt shooter until the Illini rims broke him.
Which is why I don’t think he comes here1000%, he is not going anywhere unless he is starting.
Ok, spot shooter, step up shooter, remember he played against mainly small schools. Obviously looking for all skills however that might translate to a 5* recruit. Definitely have to play defense for BU, sometimes shooter vs defensive player don't corelate. Seems like roster is getting larger. Without knowing what happens with Kofi at this point where do schollies go. Finding out about his intentions makes things more finite. Never turn down great talent when available. So many players in the portal now,,many options.Nice recall. Melton was a one trick pony for us. Podz is a bit longer and, as you said, his offensive game is much more versatile. More athletic too.
Wednesdays are always preferred commitment days.Any idea which day?
Underwood has def shown a willingness to start freshman.Which is why I don’t think he comes here
And Ahmad Starks and the ever present Alex Legion. He and Aaron Cosby... Woof...
Underwood has def shown a willingness to start freshman.
I'm hoping we make the last shot.I know this is an unpopular opinion here, but my hope is that when it comes down to the last shot, our opponents won't know who is going to take that last shot.
As the 3 or 4? I was under the impression Curbelo, Miller, and either TyTy, Hutcherson, or a transfer will be 1-3.Melendez will be in the mix.
Funny thing is that Sean Harrington and Cory Bradford were both better 3 pt shooters on those teams. More versatile, too.Brett Melton
Kruger told his staff to find the best shooter in the nation, and he just happened to be found in Mahomet.
I think Podz is considered much better than Brett, but the comparison had entered my mind as people kept talking about his shooting. Podz a much better ball handler and better at scoring. Off the dribble.
I only wish. The endless statistical analysis posts dominate here. Makes me feel very get off my lawny.Rule number 1 on Loyalty, no math!!
100%...my comment isn’t about Underwood, but more about Curbelo and Adam and our need for a long athletic wing. Especially if Kofi leaves, we may not be able to spare playing 3 guards under 6’4Underwood has def shown a willingness to start freshman.
