That's interesting. "Bino" was their Baltimore guy. Two possible replacements just started new jobs.
They also lost an assistant to Marquette, but Turgeon did hire Danny Manning. I'm glad Underwood got the deal done with Frazier or he might have been on Turgeon's radar as the Baltimore connection.

Yet another team that beat us in the NIT IIRC dang
I was at that 2010 game. Dayton ran the floor like crazy and just kept subbing guys out. We just ran out of gas trying to keep up.

I am in the mindset now we are targeting an NBA guy and waiting for their season to be over.

Not sure who that may be, but it is starting to get that feel you see with NCAA college football programs going after NFL guys.

I honestly don't think it's going to be him, but I know a guy that'd fit that description...

The greater likelihood is that they're not getting the candidates they're trying to hire. It's a key position, so it's hard to imagine that they just haven't started trying yet.
Oh, I wasn't suggesting that they haven't started trying. They have already hired one and promoted one. So, yeah, they've been working hard. Just doubt Underwood is freaking out like some on here seem to be. And, there are a lot of great candidates that they probably could have already hired. It takes awhile to get three great candidates in this unprecedented circumstance.

It couldn’t have taken that long to find Alexander. He was down the hall.

It's all hypothetical because we don't know if we were actually interested in Greer and made on offer. But given that, IF we were interested in Greer and IF we made on offer, presumably he would have been our top candidate for the job at the time we made the offer (because who offers the job to anyone other than the top available candidate?). So in this hypothetical scenario, I would sincerely hope we valued our top available candidate for the position of top Assistant Coach at least as much as Dayton, otherwise I'd be a little concerned. The only other possibility is that Dayton massively overpaid, which I guess could be the case.

You must not follow the recruiting thread if you're not familiar with non-committable offers. 😂
