I honestly don't think it's going to be him, but I know a guy that'd fit that description...

If someone mentions him one more time...

Underwood said he’s received calls from around the country regarding potential candidates “that would blow your mind,” as he evaluates what’s best for the program. However, he said he already knows what Alexander will bring to the team and mentioned that Alexander’s “loyalty” is a big factor in his promotion.

“I haven’t taken it as a negative. I’ve taken it very much as a positive,” Underwood said. “When you got guys going to Kentucky and a guy going to Gonzaga, it’s like ‘Damn, we have great people.’ And yet all of the players stayed and they believe in what we’re doing and they believe in where we’re going. Now for me it’s been like, ‘OK, I’m going to miss them all, I love them all to death, they’re all family, they’re all a part of what I’m damn proud of in terms of what we’ve built after four years.’

“Now, let’s go do it again.”

We lost AJ Storr and the way Underwood is building this up could set us up for a big let down. “Blow your mind” to me means people that should be taking NBA gigs or head coaching gigs in college. We shall see….

What if ....... (Out of Respect to All Parties and Professionalism)

1) Offer has been made
2) Offer has been Accepted
3) NBA Team has to exit the playoffs before Announcement

Confidence in JW and BU!

This almost has to be the case, at least if we're to believe the recent "blow your mind" claims when coupled with the interminable length of this coaching search.

The more I think about this, the NBA route may be a good idea. Look at recent successful recruiting at other schools - Memphis with Hardaway, Michigan with Howard, now IU has Woodson, even Nebraska has a top 20 class coming in with Hoiberg. Have we perhaps been losing recruits to programs that could sell the NBA pathway better than we could?

Brilliant.since BU doesnt talk to recruits, lets network you to a bunch of nba coaches who can sell you on our elite program and create a path to the pros

I mean definitely not totally against this route if they want to take it. It would be nice to add someone like Irvin to Geoff's now vacated seat and let that person act as the third recruiting assistant for the next month or so when recruiting is vital but NBA playoffs are not done.

I am not at all suggesting it is a possibility, but someone like Adrian Griffin would not only blow my mind, but also be kinda funny. ;)
Don't get people worked up. Would be very mind blowing as he seems close to getting a chance at being an NBA HC. You know they are familiar with each other and Adrian had a lot of positive things to say about Brad previously.
