Jalen Wilson from KU gets 4 game suspension for DUI arrest. So much for the woe is me, NCAA is just out to get us, mentality. Unless KU isn't blue blood enough lol... Although 1 of those 4 is an exhibition game.

I'd love to see Illinois sue just to hear a judge rake the NCAA.

Otherwise I'm kind of ok with Kofi sitting the first 3 games. Omar needs the minutes way more than Kofi, to learn the system and play with Curbelo in live action (catching his crazy passes).

I’m pretty sure Kansas suspended Wilson, not the NCAA. So these are 2 different circumstances.

Some random dude's pocket probably. Better to wait and save some pennies for Kofi to drop some apparel. I'd love it if that were #freekofi stuff, but he may decide he'd rather go a different route, which is fine too.

Edit: also don't love the design. Should be large block white lettering on a black shirt or large block black lettering on a white shirt. Possibly with Kofi's face, but I'd rather not. Simplicity is good.

Apparently it was a suspension handed down by KU. The Athletic didn't specify when I read the article, so I apologize for jumping the gun on accusing the NCAA of being somewhat fair.

Correctamundo. We are a team not an individual. Next man up will be something to deal with throughout the season. More players getting their feet wet the less impact it can have later in the season. Most all teams face it in one way or another.

Nice to see Dick Vitale speaking out about this absurd penalty. Called the NCAA a joke for penalizing ILLINOIS but failing to act on previous major violations from other schools.
