I can’t imagine TT going for that. What incentive would they have to do it?Could he not transfer in, get 30 hours credit in one year, transfer those hours back into T-Tech and get his degree from there?

As I age, (I'm 49 now) I understand this more & more
I don’t believe the poster ever mentioned him being a lock. What happened to TSJ being a lock?
Nothing I am retired and bored until golf season gets here... Carry on!!!!
I'm retired bub, so whatever the heck I want.Anyone else ever stop and wonder what the heck we are doing with our lives? Lol
When I was looking at transferring, every school required 2 years of tuition to get their degree, even if they accepted all of the credits. Some of the schools were quite mercenary about it. They did not require that I attend 2 years, just that I pay them 2 years of tuition, and not receive the degree before then. Given some of the big names that had this option, I wonder if it exists at UIUC.That is what I just said in a different way. He was at Texas Tech for three years. If he earned the usual 15 per semester or 30 hrs per year, that would add up to 90 hrs. A normal bachelors degree requires 120. He would need 30 more. But if UI requires he earn 60 at UI; then only 60 transfer credits, or two years worth, would apply toward the degree.
Assuming all that is true, if I am in those shoes; I look for a school that applies all my transfer credits toward a degree. So I would only need 30, doable in one year. That is just me.
class of 70, too. would have run under him as well but moved out of Elmhurst in 8th grade, so ran under a coach almost but not quite as good.Class of '95, so a bit younger than you. We both would have run under Coach Newton, though!
Too early to panic, Skyy seems to plan to visit schools so we will just have to wait. TSJ, on the other hand, has not offered any schedule that I am aware. Maybe I missed something but I was curious.IMO that's the most likely scenario. I have no inside info. Just us against the field isn't generally a great beat.
Based on your posts, you seem to only want to hear positive news, so keep believing we’re getting whoever you want to believe we’re getting if that is what makes you happy.Joined Saturday and has 11 messages of negativity. I definitely trust you more!

So from now on only positive news then. If we lose a commit, it will be because he wants to get some training for one year before transferring to the Beloved. Better yet, 2 Recruiting threads: One called “Realistic Recruiting Thread” and one called “Sunshine and Rainbows Recruiting Thread.” Then everybody’s happy. Some people seem to be miserable, seem to want to make others miserable, and when they get called out on it often assert that they are just "realists" fulfilling their ordained purpose in life to protect "optimists" from the terrible twin dangers of enthusiasm and hope.
To them, I say:
And why not? A chance to secure another bag elsewhere.
Every player on the team got outta there lmao
Isn't it funny how that worked out...And why not? A chance to secure another bag elsewhere.
Friday Funkday??? Sheesh. So from now on only positive news then. If we lose a commit, it will be because he wants to get some training for one year before transferring to the Beloved. You seem upset, take a deep breath it'll be okay. I actually just prefer accurate recruiting news, from reputable sources. I was merely pointing out that these people make accounts, and then magically have insider information. You seem to only want to hear negative news, so keep being glum and negative if that's what makes you happy.Based on your posts, you seem to only want to hear positive news, so keep believing we’re getting whoever you want to believe we’re getting if that is what makes you happy.
