Are there any draft boards that have Pearl being selected? If he’s going to be a late round pick, at best, seems he’s be better served coming back and trying to work on his game.

Career-wise it's likely best for him to stick around one more year but he might feel he's been here long enough and wants to move on with his NFL prospects/post-college career.

Did julian play guard mostly this year? maybe staying a year and showing he can move outside

He was left tackle during the year. His PFF scores are not great but seems more loved in the traditional scouting world. Regardless, he's likely an UDFA and would need to make a team in camp. Plenty of potential to improve that standing after another year, plus the benefit of doing through under Bielema. Those tapped in seem to think he's considering moving on and trying to make it in the NFL.
Tim Banks is also at Tennesee.
Seems like the problem literally was just Tim Beckman. What a player abusin', chew chewin', lasagna spewin', visor wearin', sideline infraction'in guy he was.

So Altmyer didn't play in bowl game?
He played one snap, it was a two point conversion late in the gate.
One snap after Dart got banged up
Dart took a few wicked hits- I was surprised he finished the game.
And what an amazing snap it twas. Utter brilliance. I can tell by just one snap he is that QB we need. I beg, I plead. For us to get him! A person who a mere week ago none of us had ever heard of, and now he is critical in our eyes!

These quotes make me feel a lot better about him staying at Illinois.
Doesn’t mean that Altmyer is a terrible QB. IMO, he’s a good QB and comparable to Devito. He just needs more reps and playing time. He wasn’t getting that at Ole Miss and that’s why he’s transferring. Card would’ve been a great option as well but if you notice his arm angle is a little weird when he releases the ball and he threw some really bad passes against Alabama this year.

Altmyer was a top 150 player out of HS i believe, he got an Offer from Alabama. That should tell people how talented and the type of potential he has. Anyone dismissing him coming here, are not thinking clearly.
He only said us one time. Did he really mean it?
