Might want to set the bar a little lower. The player you described would have been on the floor today.Think pre-injury Curbello...only taller and with a better outside shot.

why would dainja leave he already transferred and Illinois seemed to develop him well. Also why would Epps he was granted starting pg until concussion
Yeah.... I was responding to a Moretti question, But was thinking Lawhorn... Who will see early minutes.Might want to set the bar a little lower. The player you described would have been on the floor today.
You're right definitely need a true point guard but I wouldn't give any flack to Harris - even for FTs. He, Epps, and Rogers are freshmen in the BIGTEN. They I think all three had a solid freshmen year. If they stick together for a couple of years and Goode is a senior with Hansberry and Johnson coming in look out. I won't pretend to know what's going on, but think about Goode and RJ as seniors with Epps, Rogers, and Harris as juniors and Hansberry and Johnson on the squad. In my humble stupid opinion it's more important to recruit the kids that will stay, even if it means we don't have a handful of NBA prospects. Don't get me wrong, I'd love one or two and most of the kids want to see that they have a path and don't blame them, but it's all about chemistry. This year's team showed that. We lost soooooooo much. You just can't make a deep run without chemistry...........and a true PG.Need a point guard period. I love Harris' energy but when he has the ball he looks so out of control. His passing is a little better than bad. If you can't shoot FT's as a guard I don't know how you play major minutes. I think too many people thinks he's going to turn into Trent. I don't see him ever getting close to that. Jayden is a scorer but as pointed out by others, because of his lack of size he get's eaten up by larger guards on D and on O. Statement of the obvious but Luke is the real deal.
For a guy who frustrated the heck out of me in so many games and did so today maybe more than any other, I still would love to see Coleman come back.
Is there video of that bump? I never saw it but damn now I'm intrigued.
Like a toddler in timeout. Seriously, what kind of body language is that? Nod your head, look him in the eye, just do something that signals acknowledgement.
BUs language there was um .... interesting. Epps head kept getting in the way, so I couldn't lip read all of it. What I could read included:
Rodgers passed him we with regards to our need and value added. Ty progressed significantly. I don't think that Epps was sold on being a better defender. BU simply couldn't keep him on the court. Bigger guards just had their way with him.In my opinion Epps would be underwood’s biggest lost.. he was by far the best freshman all year
This is not a great take. He was getting screamed obscenities at face to face.Like a toddler in timeout. Seriously, what kind of body language is that? Nod your head, look him in the eye, just do something that signals acknowledgement.
Ayo took it. He’s in the league. Epps tried to ignore it. He’s possibly on his way out the door. While I’m not a big fan of the in your face screaming, I don’t doubt the mountain of frustration Underwood was feeling from MANY of the players not following the plan contributed to that. If players understand the coach is TRYING TO MAKE YOU BETTER, they’ll not take it personally, and listen to the message. This is not a great take. He was getting screamed obscenities at face to face.
That wasn't a good look by BU. Hopefully he can fix that relationship.
and who will play defense and run the play calledFrom my view in the cheap seats, MM and Epps are both dudes with tudes. Addition by subtraction x 2.
Please bring in shooters that will listen to da staff and .......... MAKE SHOTS!!

In fairness to Jaden it would be tough to be screamed at to do your MF job after you just watched MM take his 5th contested step back 3.
Any chance Seth Trimble is a portal candidate?
He averaged less than 10mpg, and the guards ahead of him on the roster (Caleb Love, RJ Davis) don't show up very high on draft projections.
It seemed like he considered us out of HS.
Perhaps the staff is looking for more of a sure thing, but I wouldn't hate grabbing a guy with that much upside AND a few years of remaining eligibility.
At least you didn't say a more athletic Larry Bird.Might be overselling the kid just a smidge.
I didn't ever see a video like that with Ayo. He seems to be doing just fine with Donovan not handling himself like this.Ayo took it. He’s in the league. Epps tried to ignore it.
