There's a Natty joke in here somewhere.well it's already sold me, I'll chip in $20 and a case of Miller Lite

I think Kansas is a better job. Kansas fans are far more reasonable than Kentucky fans.Kansas … At least in my opinion …
Coaches would probably be split …
They got Shaka after he turned down several other jobs and, while Beard was an alum, they still stole him from a conference rival 2 years off a title game appearance.Texas seems like exactly the kind of program that would overestimate their own attractiveness in basketball, back a dump truck of money up to guys like Oats and Musselman, then "settle" for choice #4 after the others pass while waiting for a blue blood.
I still think Underwood is a really good coach who is only missing that tourney success, but I could definitely see Texas striking out by overreaching on all the tippy top tier candidates.
Yea the ego at Texas would not accept or allow them to hire Terry. Austin would explode if they couldn't make a big splash. Would be really funny to see what happens if he wins the National Championship. They got Shaka after he turned down several other jobs and, while Beard was an alum, they still stole him from a conference rival 2 years off a title game appearance.
With their resources they are the true sleeping giant of college basketball and it's exactly why they're still considering other candidates despite the job Terry has done this year. It's also probably why Underwood isn't good enough for them, btw.
As a Tucson resident, I never got any bad vibes about Sean Miller other than his painfully slow offense.I actually enjoy Brad. I do not enjoy Sean Miller.
They're a sleeping giant but still sleeping. The fan base has unreasonable expectations and the leash is very short. It's certainly not for everyone. They got Shaka after he turned down several other jobs and, while Beard was an alum, they still stole him from a conference rival 2 years off a title game appearance.

The wild thing is that this implies he's actually sully thought about this.
Odds that flirtation with Texas could just be a play for another extension/raise?Oh, Whitman is aware … Brad and his agent go poking around at jobs every year … Last year it was K State (which Whitman understood) and then we gave Brad the bag and now he wants to go flirt with Texas ? In Whitman’s head - he’s given Brad everything he could want … If he’s not happy still then so be it, thanks for everything and good luck wherever you go …
@Indy Illini Fan forgive me if I’m misinterpreting, but it sounds like you were referring to Miller here..Is it safe to assume that there is open, mutual interest between Whitman and Miller?
Let us have fun.I think we're getting ourselves in a tizzy over nothing of substance here.

Tobin Anderson (fdu) to Iona. Never ceases to amaze how 1-2 wins (and the media exposure) changes a guys career.
My best guess of what's going on here is that people within the DIA are testing the waters for fanbase support of them playing a bit of hardball on this topic.Odds that flirtation with Texas could just be a play for another extension/raise?

Saw Xavier live this past weekend against Pitt and they got any shot they wanted all game. Really impressive to watch.Which Cohen has really worked wonders on … Watching Xavier offense this year has been a TREAT compared to the “offense” we were running …
For the film junkies like me … Last 2 minutes of the Xavier vs Kennesaw State game … Look at the offense Sean ran … Got a WIDE OPEN layup not once but twice … Dudes have to make shots but the looks they got … ELITE
Or to frame the narrative and make sure it’s positive for Sean Miller. My best guess of what's going on here is that people within the DIA are testing the waters for fanbase support of them playing a bit of hardball on this topic.

I'd take Miller 100 times out of 100 over Brad. Brad got this thing back to a respectable place but frankly I think he's hit his ceiling. Miller could take it to another level.I actually enjoy Brad. I do not enjoy Sean Miller.
Oh I’ll still be here if Brad leavesI'm surprised @illini0440 is so comfortable with that of his dad leaving.
