From what's been implied around here, there's a lot of back channeling going on. I would guess that those higher-end guys are making sure their landing spots are secured before taking the leap. No sense in leaving a decent situation if a better one isn't actually out there waiting for you.

That's a lemon recruiting class? AJ was very solid as an upperclassman and JCL played for 8 different schools over 17 years, while acquiring 3 PhDs. I'd say that's pretty decent.

Interest in CBB - In the past very small interest in Illinois (or CBB in general) right after the NCAA tourney. Portal definitely changed that. Not sure it is a good change but more time checking the board.
