Good shooting percentages. Reasonably good rebounder for his height. Excellent at FT's (!). Used to being a #1 scoring option on his previous teams so if he can defend well enough and can be willing to settle into a role where he's not necessarily the #1 guy then I really like this pickup.

according to people I trust, he's a VG defender. course, he's moving up quite a bit on the athleticism chain, so I don't expect him to be a standout defensively. but good, yes.

one other thing: he's not coming here to be the man. this is a 4 year starter/stalwart, who's coming for the big stage and to win.

I find it interesting that RJ is not ranked in the top 208.
RJ's potential is through the roof (and he's shown it in flashes). His actual production is through the floor. So it would be hard to ranking him highly against others who have lived up to their potential to any degree.

And having said all that, I do still wish he was staying.

Seems like you could reasonably expect 3 point % to stay the same at 35% which I think we would all be thrilled with. He is jumping up a level in competition which one would think would lower it but if he truly is our 6th man off the bench(as some of the insiders have alluded to) he will get a lot higher quality looks then being #1 on the scouting report at SIUC so it should equal out

Guy looks solid coming off the bench. Does anyone know how many years he'd be playing for Underwood? I hope it's more than one year.

"Complete" is the word that springs to mind for Domask.

I'll buy that as an RJ replacement. Sneaky post-up game too, that's a nice club to have in the bag.
Very much like what I see there. Only wish we could have him for more than one year.

Maybe I’m misremembering, but wasn’t the recruiting thread full of “the sky is falling” posts last year at this time? People need to relax. At least we got a commit today to slow those posts down. Yeah right.

How does Domask compare and fit with Goode? Both seem to be good shooters from 3 and FT line, decent defensively, play smart, similar size, both seem somewhat versatile by position. Do they play together to spread the floor or do they battle for playing time?

Good fit. Especially if we can land a player or 2 through the "back channels" and/or get TSJ and Hawkins back.

Curious, how does his transfer portal ranking compare to Clark, Epps, or RJ.
