I feel like this is bad for our RayJ commitment….It’s admissions. Transfers are different than prep recruits. I can’t remember the exact thing but Michigan has some weird thing when it comes to transfers

I thought it was said last week that it was going to be this week. Now, is it this week and we're waiting until next week?
Curbelo had some of the most amazing moves/passes I have seen in a long time. Problem was he could also make some very poor decisions. Overall, I would say he had moments of greatnessHe was good at times, never great.
If one has 3 years of credits at one school, say Toledo, then picks up a years worth at, say Michigan, wouldn't the logical move be to transfer the Michigan credits back to Toledo and pick up a Toledo degree?Illinois requires 60 hours TO EARN A DEGREE. I'm guessing that TSJ planned to go pro after one year in which case he really didn't need a degree. If he drops out of the draft and returns to school he can likely get his 60 hours and his degree.
The only thing I know about cottage cheese is that BU trading Skyy for Podz was worse than eating the rancid cottage cheese that comes outta a freshmen's mouth as he exits Kam's for the first time. Please stop. We don't need to continue to discuss it. I'd rather talk about the differences between low-fat cottage cheese vs whole milk cottage cheese than listen to idiots continue to look in the past and criticize when we all would have taken Skyy at the time.
WhyI feel like this is bad for our RayJ commitment….
It's kind of cold out tonight. That is probably bad for a RayJ commitment.
I can be completely off base but just because i am used to being burned i don’t like it because:
That's never a good omen for RayJ commitments.plus, I stubbed my toe
My toe is ok, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.plus, I stubbed my toe
It's Podz in disquse, so no.But is he better than Podz?
We want absolutely nothing to do with Caleb Love.I can be completely off base but just because i am used to being burned i don’t like it because:
1.) gives another competitor an opportunity to swoop in (I know admissions is an issue but doesn’t change the fact there’s another team calling
2.) now there is another PG avail so maybe coach and team say they can’t put all eggs in one basket and offer Love instead of waiting for RayJ. I would rather RayJ than Love
3.) coach can decide to not go after him since he is expecting RayJ, and then we could end up losing both.
Just my anxious Illini brain speaking. That’s all.
A number of schools require your LAST 60 hours to be at the school. You can do the intro courses anywhere. If they are going to accredit you, the advanced classes in your major have to be from them.If one has 3 years of credits at one school, say Toledo, then picks up a years worth at, say Michigan, wouldn't the logical move be to transfer the Michigan credits back to Toledo and pick up a Toledo degree?
I am not forgetting anything. The original poster saying Podz should have played over Damonte was ludicrous. You forgetting how DMW helped us win. a BIG title? And a BIG tournament title the year before!
Podz showed little while at Illinois. Must have frustrating for Podz, Coach BU and the team. Likewise for Curbello in his 2nd yr at IllinoisAnyone complaining that Podz' growth reflects poorly on Illinois just screams insecurity to me.
mommy, make it stop
Because Michigan clearly got Dennis on campus knowing Love wouldn’t be there and they needed a PG. Not saying Michigan will get him or not, but the sell and fit for him makes more sense now that admissions didn’t allow Love than it did before this happened.
