Many have said that Ty has the ability to be a premier facilitator. Could he be a legitimate option?

We just dont want a repeat of last year, and thats the direction we are headed.
How? We are deeper. More experienced. And, the chemistry on this team will surely be better. The sky is not falling Henny Penny.

I love the scorched version of Loyalty.

Let's get for real, landing a recruit is better for the team, but missing on one is a lot more entertaining for the board.

Crazy that Brad didn't learn or care to learn from Groce's mistakes.

He can do a lot of good things but how can he be PG when he does not need to be closely guarded? He literally didn't take a shot outside of 5 feet last season. He plays to his strengths, plays hard, and doesn't make many mistakes. I don't see him being a lead pg given his lack of shooting.

Bummed about RayJ, but a few observations. It seems like it pays from a players perspective to be the last player standing uncommitted in the portal within a ‘tier’. I’m a fantasy football person so I feel like it’s similar to an auction draft where there’s a clear drop off on talent after a guy, so everyone that needs that position filled will put in bids and possibly overpay (yes I know we offered the most money).

Assuming there were other PGs interested…..man that’s a miss by the staff. We have a glaring position of need, so it just doesn’t make sense to me not to pursue other PGs (even take one) while still pursuing RayJ if that’s ultimately who you want. Yeah you can insert something about recruiting over a kid that just committed but this is kind of what big programs do. From a risk management perspective, the scenario we are in now really blows my mind and I’m still hopeful we do get a capable PG.

I do have a question if anyone knows. I’m under the impression we have a pot of NIL $ each year. I think of it like a salary cap and each player gets a share of the pot each year. When coaches think we may need more $, they may ask and maybe the Guardians make it work. Is it a bad look with the Guardians if we ask for more and miss or is it just irrelevant since that money could go to next year?

Listen:
I get the frustration. It's a bad miss. But there is only so much the staff could do here. Could they have taken someone instead of RayJ? Yes, but hindsight is 20/20. They are going to land a point guard
Someone said they would spill the names of who we are targeting now. Who might they be?

We aren’t fully recovered from a couple bad hires (BW, MT, JG), but Baylor can systematically cover up a series of VIOLENT crimes in its two revenue sports and they are rewarded with perennial top-15 contenders in both. Cool, cool cool cool. This some bullsh*t.
You've apparently never lived in and seen the interworking of Texas money and politics.
